Additional Information for Exhibitors
February 22-23, 2012
Marriot Courtyard Toronto Brampton Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Exhibiting at the conference
Toronto’s tradition of excellence in stormwater and urban water systems management makes this an ideal venue for companies providing products and services in these fields. The exhibits each year include a range of software, instrumentation and environmental products. Most exhibitors return regularly. Exhibit names will be prominently displayed, and advertising material should be submitted for inclusion on the printed program as well as in a slideshow projection on the main conference screen. The personnel at each display will be introduced during the opening session, and conference attendees will be given specific time, opportunity and encouragement to visit the displays. The exhibit area is located in the main conference room; everyone attending the sessions must pass through the exhibit area, and the attendees break out into this area at coffee time. It is a perfect situation for exhibitors.
Exhibit registration
The fee for exhibit space is $645 + applicable taxes, which includes registration for one person, continental breakfast, lunch and breaks both days. Additional exhibitor registrations are $395 + applicable taxes.

Accommodations
The Courtyard Marriot has a number of room blocked for this event but please reserve your room early. The Marriot has complimentary on-site parking, complimentary Internet access throughout the hotel, easy freeway access and a short cab ride from the airport.
To book a room at the Courtyard Marriot, at the special rate of $121 per night for a Double Queen room or a King bed room, please call the hotel directly at 1-905-455-9000 and reference the Group Name "CHI". Closer to the conference, there will also be online registration available.

Set-up
A 6ft high by 10ft wide pipe and drape booth with a 6' long draped table will be provided for each exhibitor, with access to an electrical outlet. You will need to bring both a powerbar and an extension cord as the electrical outlet may be as much as 15 feet from the booth. Booths will be allocated by the conference convener. Arrangements for transport of materials and access to the display area for set up before the conference can be made directly with the hotel. Exhibits must be in place prior to registration at 7.45 a.m. on Wednesday, February 22, and can be set up either on the Tuesday evening, February 21, between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. or between 7:00 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 22. At each booth there will be the name of the exhibitor assigned to that booth. The conference organizer will place at each booth the name of the exhibitor assigned to that booth.
Additional exhibitor advertising
All exhibitors should submit a 2 slide Microsoft PowerPoint advertisement for inclusion in the conference projection screen display, that will be projected between presentations and at breaks. This 2 slide screen presentation can be full color and highly graphical (it will be projected at XGA resolution). Each slide will remain for 10 seconds (20 seconds total for each exhibitor). Thus we suggest that static slides are more effective, however, if you do use in-slide animations, they should be minimal and timed appropriately. Please ensure you do not use master slide items in your submitted PowerPoint file as any items (e.g. backdrops) in the master slide will not be copied across when the slides are inserted into the conference PowerPoint file.
In addition, a single, 6.5" x 9", portrait orientation, grayscale image (in compressed Tiff format) at 150 to 300 dpi should be submitted for hardcopy printing in the conference program.
Both files must be emailed to Barb Malone by Friday February 3rd, 2012.
Conference program
This conference is unique in accepting papers up to the last month, and finalizing the program on the web as the event approaches. Exhibitors are welcome to submit abstracts of scientific interest (non-commercial) for inclusion in the program. Typical presentation titles from past years can be found by browsing the books in our publications pages.
