Evaluating Storm Water Management Model Accuracy in Conditions of Mixed Flows

Stormwater systems can undergo transition from free surface flows to pressurized flows during rapid filling conditions where inflows exceed the conveyance capacity. In this paper by Jose Vasconcelos, Yasemin Eldayih, Yang Zhao and Jalil A. Jamily, from Auburn University, the accuracy of the EPA SWMM model to represent these mixed flow conditions is explored.
