It has been concluded that broader issues related to urban flooding, instream water quality and watershed health cannot be adequately resolved without addressing runoff from legacy development areas within the Credit River watershed.

The Credit Valley Conservation Authority (CVC), in conjunction with CHI, is offering a specialized workshop as part of the Pre-Latornell program, providing the background knowledge to successfully plan and execute a retrofit feasibility study for an existing area lacking stormwater quantity and quality controls. This workshop presents the challenges and opportunities associated with a retrofit feasibility study, complemented with a recent retrofit case study and a detailed EPA SWMM5 modelling exercise using PCSWMM.
