Computational Hydraulics International (CHI) will be hosting a SWMM5/PCSWMM training course in Singapore in association with the 12th Annual Meeting of the Asia Oceania Geosciences Society (AOGS) and the 7th Asia Pacific Association of Hydrology and Water Resources (APHW) Conference. Please come join us to advance your professional skills and learn what EPA SWMM5 and PCSWMM have to offer.

EPA SWMM5 is a widely-used open source, dynamic rainfall-runoff-routing simulation model used for watershed, stormwater and wastewater modelling of both water quantity and quality. PCSWMM is a GIS-based spatial decision support system for the official SWMM5 engine. Together, SWMM5 and PCSWMM provide an efficient and easy-to-use toolset for streamlining model development, optimization and analysis in a comprehensive range of water system modelling applications.

This 1-day hands-on workshop will cover SWMM5 hydrology and hydraulics background theory, building a new stormwater model including a variety of LID/SUD controls, system evaluation using design storms, as well as subcatchment parameterization and delineation using external GIS and DEM layers.

COST AND REGISTRATION

Price: $150 SGD or $110 USD (in addition to your AOGS registration fees)

The fee for the 1-day workshop includes a 60-day license of PCSWMM Professional 2D software and online access to the Urban Drainage Modeling Workbook. A full PCSWMM Professional 2D license can be obtained for research purposes free of charge through CHI's University Grant Program.

It is recommended that attendees have a basic understanding of hydraulics and hydrology. Previous experience with GIS and/or modelling will be helpful but not necessary. All attendees will be required to present their AOGS conference passes at the gate.

Once your online registration is complete you will receive a follow up email with detailed venue and workshop information. If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact me directly at meghan@chiwater.com. If you have any other questions, please contact CHI.

Please take a moment to forward to a colleague.

Thank you and we look forward to seeing you there.
