LAST CALL FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Do you have a water management project or innovation that you'd like to share with a large audience of experts, specialists and authorities concerned with water systems modeling?  If so, we invite you to submit an abstract for the 49th International Conference on Water Management Modeling.

Suggested topics include:

  • Green infrastructure (LIDs, SuDS), wetlands, and agricultural BMPs
  • Climate change and system security
  • 1D, 2D, 3D surface water and/or integrated groundwater modeling
  • Urban drainage system (storm and wastewater) design, analysis and management
  • Flood forecasting and decision analysis systems
  • Modeling urban and agricultural impacts on aquatic systems and habitats
  • Pollution management modeling, including SSOs, CSOs and TMDLs
  • Field data monitoring and emerging instrumentation
  • Calibration, optimization and error analysis (genetic algorithms and neural networks)
  • Numerical and statistical methods
  • CAD, GIS and integrating asset management systems
  • Policy, legislation, funding, permitting and enforcement

Late registration fee for the conference starts February 1, 2016. The deadline for abstracts is February 3, 2016, however we recommend you submit your abstract right away as the program is filling up.

Abstract submission should include the title/topic you wish to cover, a brief outline (300 word maximum) and the names and contact information of the authors involved. Acceptance will be communicated promptly.​

Final papers are due April 1, 2016 ​​and are – at no cost – reviewed for publishing in the Journal of Water Management Modeling.
