Present your work at the International Conference on
Water Management Modeling

Toronto, Canada - February 24-25, 2016

ASCE, the Ontario Public Service, AWRA, Conservation Ontario and EPA endorse this conference.

Do you have a water management project or an innovation that you'd like to share with your peers? Would you like to present to a large audience of water systems modelers? If so, we invite you to submit an abstract for the 49th International Conference on Water Management Modeling.

The friendly atmosphere, narrow focus and avoidance of parallel sessions provides a unique opportunity for both new and experienced presenters to connect with top professionals and researchers from across North America and overseas. Suggested topics include:

  • Green infrastructure (LIDs, SuDS), wetlands, and agricultural BMPs
  • Climate change and system security
  • 1D, 2D, 3D surface water and/or integrated groundwater modeling
  • Urban drainage system (storm and wastewater) design, analysis and management
  • Flood forecasting and decision analysis systems
  • Modeling urban and agricultural impacts on aquatic systems and habitats
  • Pollution management modeling, including SSOs, CSOs and TMDLs
  • Field data monitoring and emerging instrumentation
  • Calibration, optimization and error analysis (genetic algorithms and neural networks)
  • Numerical and statistical methods
  • CAD, GIS and integrating asset management systems
  • Policy, legislation, funding, permitting and enforcement

Great conference! A real gathering of like-minded individuals in an intimate framework that encourages a broad exposure to diverse subjects and hot topics in the water management modeling field.

Abstracts or notices of intent are invited immediately. Please include a title or topic that you wish to cover, a brief outline (300 word maximum) and the names and contact information of the authors involved. Acceptance will be communicated promptly.

Register for the conference by December 24, 2015 to take advantage of the early bird discount. The deadline for abstracts is February 3, 2016, but be warned that the program tends to fill up fast.

Final papers are due April 1, 2016 and are – at no cost – reviewed for publishing in the Journal of Water Management Modeling.

Don't miss the chance to showcase your best project. Submit your abstract today!

Please take a moment to forward this notice to a colleague. We look forward to you joining us.
