LID, Integrated 1D-2D, Stormwater & Watershed Modeling with PCSWMM and EPA SWMM5

CWRA 2017 CONFERENCE

Computational Hydraulics Int. (CHI) will be hosting a PCSWMM/SWMM5 training course in Lethbridge, AB in conjunction with the CWRA 2017 Conference. Please note that no conference attendance is required to attend this PCSWMM/SWMM training workshop.

CONTENT

Earn up to 1.5 CEUs while advancing your professional skills and learning what PCSWMM has to offer.

Please join us and you will be provided with a 60-day software license of PCSWMM Professional 2D.

Day 1: Introduction to EPA SWMM5 and PCSWMM, hydrology and hydraulics theory, model construction, discretization and parameterization (including GIS integration), model validation and model inference, with a focus on urban stormwater and/or sanitary modeling including flood management, storage facility design, and system evaluation using both design storms and continuous modeling.

Day 2: Introduction to Low Impact Development (LID), evaluation of in-stream erosion, introduction to integrated 1D-2D flood modeling, model calibration, watershed modeling (including importing HEC-RAS models), in-stream erosion, correcting run errors, and advanced time series analysis (including flow duration curve analysis, hydromodification and long-term rainfall disaggregation).

Thursday, June 8 and Friday, June 9, 2017
Price: $695*

The fee for the 2-day workshop includes a 60-day license of PCSWMM Professional 2D software and all documentation and instructional materials, including a digital version of the User's Guide to SWMM5. Lunch, bbeverages and snacks will also be provided. Participation in this workshop earns 1.5 CEUs.

*Non CWRA members will have Member fees added during registration process
