CONTENT

CHI is pleased to offer EPA SWMM5 / PCSWMM training courses in conjunction with the International Conference on Water Management Modeling. We invite you to advance your professional skills and learn how these two software tools can improve your stormwater, wastewater and watershed modeling efforts.

Please join us for either the full 2 day training on February 22 & 23, or the advanced 1 day course on February 23. For new and intermediate modelers, the 2 day training explores the fundamentals of modeling with EPA SWMM5 / PCSWMM and acquaints users with the latest tools to streamline work flow. Designed with the experienced user in mind, the advanced 1 day course covers the latest features and capabilities to ensure you utilize both programs as effectively as possible.


AGENDA

Day 1: Introduction to PCSWMM/SWMM5 modeling, building a new stormwater or sanitary model, SWMM hydrology and hydraulics theory, storage facility design, parameterization using GIS data, system evaluation using design storms, output interpretation, error analysis and water quality modeling.

Day 2: Low Impact Development (LID) analysis, evaluation of in-stream erosion, integrated 1D-2D modeling, model sensitivity, calibration and error analysis, importing from HEC-RAS, advanced time series processing and analysis.

Novice/Intermediate 2 Day Workshop:
Monday, February 22 & Tuesday, February 23, 2016
Cost: $995 - Early bird $895 until January 27

Includes a 60-day license of PCSWMM Professional 2D software with 60 day online access to the course workbook. All other content provided digitally, including the User's Guide to SWMM5. Participation in this workshop earns 1.5 CEUs.

Advanced 1 Day Workshop:
Tuesday, February 23, 2016
Cost: $495 - Early bird $445 until January 27

Includes a 60-day license of PCSWMM Professional 2D software with 60 day online access to the course workbook. All other content provided digitally, including the User's Guide to SWMM5. Participation in this workshop earns 0.75 CEUs.

It is highly recommended that attendees of the advanced 1 day workshop have already participated in previous PCSWMM training or have taken the online course, as the focus of this training is to progress existing skills and familiarize existing users with the latest features of PCSWMM and EPA SWMM5.

Full-time students receive a 30% discount on registration
